MPL Building Intelligent Solutions
The MPL Group is the first Advancis Certified Control Room Partner, based in Barneveld The Netherlands. MPL offers a Platform as a Service (PaaS) Smart Building Concept.
The MPL control center is an alarm-management and communication-center, which uses the Smart Building PSIM+ platform as a cloud solution in Azure. In this concept, MPL supports thousands of businesses and private clients in remote security and building management applications. Because of this concept, MPL is able to operate with the highest standards of safety, security, service and sustainability.
MPL offers a management solution which is both flexible and scalable so that the customer has the choice to either maintain their surveillance within their (own) local control room, or they can simply switch control to MPL with a single mouse-click, to take over monitoring anytime, 24/7, every day of the year.
MPL’s Smart Building Concept (PaaS) allows them to monitor all changes of variable statuses in all the connected devices within the software.. These state-changes are used as triggers to create an event or notification within the system. Event notifications are immediately transferred to the MPL control center, where MPL ensures that all appropriate actions are taken to resolve the situation, using dynamic workflows and drawings in a Digital Twin. All these workflows and appropriate actions will be discussed up front with the customer, to ensure MPL takes the right steps. This applies to all security systems integrated into the PaaS Concept: Video Surveillance Systems, intercoms, fire alarms, as well as building related management systems such as parking management and telephone services, air conditioning, pumps, temperature regulation, CO2-monitoring, energy monitoring and IOT-devices. In Q4 MPL will also be offering a concept for a way to make reservations for an Smart workplace in just a few steps, all integrated in the WinGuard Platform.
Connecting all these specific applications and systems into one PaaS concept, leads to an enormous amount of data, which can be used besides many other things, for analysis, improvement of processes or real time information-dashboards. The evaluated data therefore provides very valuable insights into key performance indicators (KPI’s) from the monitored buildings as a whole, or for tenants/systems specifically.
