Delta Elektronika Launches Bi-directional 15kW 500V DC Power Supply

Delta Elektronika does not often introduce new products. So when they do introduce a new product it must be really special and well-thought-out, right? Well it sure is! Today Delta introduces a new 15kW standard power supply offering a bi-directional output with 95% efficient Power Regeneration Technology and loads of other advanced new features at the price level of a standard model.

CONSTANT POWER OUTPUT

The SM500-CP-90 features a flexible constant power output characteristic: the lower the voltage, the higher the current: 500V, -30 to 30A, 250V, -60 to 60A and 166V, -90 to 90A. Voltage, positive current and negative current can all be adjusted from zero to maximum. In sink mode Delta’s Power Regeneration Technology returns energy back to the grid with an efficiency of 95%.

With the new SM500-CP-90 Delta Elektronika has extended its offering to a higher power level: from 6kW maximum per supply to 15kW. In master/slave configuration, power levels of 30kW and more are possible while maintaining very competitive prices. Increased power without compromising either specifications or lifespan is what the SM500-CP-90 offers. A breakthrough in power electronics technology has enabled Delta to engineer features that customers demanded but were previously impossible.
