Being Connected is great unless you get exposed while poorly protected, especially in Industrial application. The solution for these potential problems could be solved by implementing a small secure element onto each board based on the Trusted Object technology. A device with a personalized unique ID and corresponding Secret keys that cannot be copied. This device acts as a passport that can be read and validated by a local MCU, a remote gateway or server. During the presentation we will focus on implementing such a device in an industrial application where size and power are crucial.
