Traditionally the real-time Industrial Ethernet used is selected at factory level. But what protocol to select for an in-machine embedded real-time network solution?
This presentation is focussed to two real-time high-speed Ethernet protocols: EtherCAT and Powerlink, both on the topology as the process of exchanging data. We demonstrate a solution how engineers can implement Industrial Ethernet protocols in an embedded device or in-machine application, without large investments in engineering time and project risk.
