Storing data in NAND flash memory, due to shock & vibration-, temperature- or timing constrains seems ideal. But selecting a right product, requires understanding of technologies like SLC, MLC, TLC and 3D NAND. It basically sets quality parameters for Endurance, Data retention and more. In addition, good controller mechanisms prevent data corruption at power downs and risk on static data loss. Selecting flash is not a matter of just ‘size and temperature’!
