To transform an idea into a design one needs to know manufacturing capabilities and above all what I’m not possible to manufacture. Involving manufacturing companies in the design phase or at least using their manufacturing knowledge and experience is imperative before creating a final layout and production data. Some call this “early involvement” and apply one to one personal guidance. Eurocircuits introduced the philosophy of “The Optimum Design Flow” and offers its online “Smart Menus”, “DRC-“ and “DFM functionality” for this purpose, using these results in the production of prototypes “Right First Time” within budget and on time.
