The FHI boards have decided to cancel Electronics & Applications in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The exhibition organization will now focus on organizing a webinar week in which the lectures take place online.
After last week’s announcement about the postponement of E&A, the chairmen has decided to cancel the in-person trade fair for the electronics industry. At present, there is too much uncertainty about the regulations surrounding the COVID-19 situation this autumn. The 1.5-metre measure in particular, plays an important role here: our members, exhibitors and visitors cannot have a good exhibition experience. These uncertainties also affect the expected number of visitors and the required visitor recruitment. In addition, the survey conducted among you as an exhibitor, does not give a decisive positive picture about an hybrid or in-person event in November.
Online conference program
We would like to offer you the opportunity to get in contact with the visitors of E&A, which is why we offer an online conference program. The online program should take place during the original exhibition week and possibly extended with an extra week. This week, the organization will contact all participants to explain more about the set-up, the participation costs and to gauge the interest. More information about the set-up or FAQ can be found here.
We will cancel your registration for participation of E&A 2021 free of charge. For a next edition of E&A, or for participation in the online conference program, please register again.
Events this autumn
In addition to the online E&A edition, FHI Industrial Electronics organizes three small events this autumn; D&E (Design Automation & Embedded systems) on the 10th of November, IT Infra on the 16th of November and RF Technology on the 30th of November. We would like to organize these events in-person, with the possibility to follow the lectures online. For more information, please contact Marc Berkouwer.
We are very disappointed that E&A will not take place as an in-person event this year. If you have any further questions, please contact us via email@example.com.
