Stagnant water in 'dead' pipes is a potential hazard due to the formation of bio-film. Bio-film is a breeding ground for bacteria such as legionella pneumophila. Combating this bacterial growth is time-consuming and often expensive.
Legionella control
The new FAR tap in the Steendam range is equipped with a specially developed supply hose. A composition of silicone and silver ions prevents the formation of bio-film, thus offering a legionella-safe solution. In addition, the electronic tap automatically flushes every 24 hours after the last use.
Hygienic control via sensor
A tap control knob that is used by several people can easily become contaminated and thus become a source of bacterial transmission. The FAR electronically controlled crane offers the solution for this. The sensor technology makes touching the tap unnecessary.
Laboratory tap
The tap is made in a robust light gray epoxy powder coating, resistant to acids and alkalis. This makes the crane extremely suitable for installation in a demanding laboratory environment.
Performances
Standard battery powered for approximately 150,000 starts. Also available with a thermostatic mixing valve for heated water and various outlets.
