Connected lighting has become an indispensable part of buildings and on the streets
A large part of the buildings/companies have already switched to LED lighting and as of July 1, 2020 this is even legally required. The use of LED lighting has also grown considerably on the street. The switch to LED lighting ensures energy savings and a reduction in maintenance costs. When the LEDs are also connected to the internet, this offers many more concrete advantages.
The performance of connected lighting systems can be read and adjusted remotely. By adding sensors, the operation of the lighting can be further analyzed and optimized. This can also contribute to a safer environment and increased employee productivity.
At the LED, Lighting & Technology Conference, two of these communication protocols/standards will be given extensive attention. In this lecture track, Chess Wise discuss the technology and increasing functionalities of the wireless MyMesh lighting control and will Helvar, Future Electronics and Xicato (on behalf of Luxendi) inform attendees about the technical details, possibilities and applications of Bluetooth Low energy Mesh.
