In 2018, FHI started organizing meetings that have been given the title 'Interaction between Industries'. Themes that are of interest to multiple members and from multiple industries are discussed. At the end of October, a session will take place on the food industry and after this there will be another meeting about aging.
In recent years, various moments have been added for the association. The workshops are highly appreciated and are almost always full. The GDPR was an important topic for workshops, but here too, more themes are alive among FHI members. Think of public procurement, social media, legal matters and commercial aspects in business operations.

The intention is to revive cluster meetings in the branches (if they no longer take place) and to further intensify by inviting relations or customers to these meetings. For a number of years, management sessions have also been organised with well-known speakers, such as referee Björn Kuipers, general bd Peter van Uhm or astronaut André Kuipers.
The reason for existence is to unite. FHI does not only do this with fairs, events and smaller commercial activities. The opportunities within the sectors are also concrete and it is not self-evident that members know each other. It is our goal to offer as many opportunities as possible for good interaction.
When FHI members come together, the interaction is self-evident. For those who regularly come to Leusden, I don't have to explain that, but contacts who join a meeting for the first time experience the power of that interaction more concretely than you can tell.
This is not only fun to experience. It is especially very useful. Companies complement each other, see opportunities in cooperation, learn from each other and use the collective expertise in technology and commerce. For members who have not often experienced this, this text is an open invitation.
