Jan van der Aa, Aadvise

On May 15, 2019, FHI received the sad news that a former member of the E&A stock exchange committee had passed away: Jan van der Aa.

He had just turned seventy, but was still as energetic as many people in the electronics industry knew him to be. Jan was a stock market tiger. His energy, enthusiasm and inventiveness came in handy there. With his pavilion and the accompanying participants, he was prominently present at FHI trade fairs.

Jan van der Aa had a nose for good connections, striking actions and effective combinations. With Aadvise he had a specific view on stand construction, but also on nice gimmicks. You could visit him for an AA. The slogan 'Bundles business better' is also a nice way of Jan to give qualities a good label.

During E&A 2019, members and exhibitors informed each other. The processing of the great loss was palpable during the fair. At the same time, many industry colleagues felt gratitude for the strength he has given to many. The sincere condolences for his life were shared at a fair.

Jan van der Aa will be greatly missed. Members, customers, visitors, contacts and colleagues of FHI in Industrial Electronics are grateful for the experiences gained with Jan. We wish Truus and her loved ones much strength.
