Cabinet increases corona support for entrepreneurs via TVL scheme
The Fixed Cost Allowance (TVL) has been increased by the central government from 85 to 100 percent for the second quarter. The government has also doubled the budget for Temporary Support for Necessary Costs (TONK), the support measure for households that cannot pay their necessary bills.
The expansion of the TVL scheme involves an amount of 450 million euros. Entrepreneurs can claim TVL support if there is at least a 30 percent loss of turnover in the past quarter compared to the same period a year earlier. The TVL scheme for the second quarter is expected to open from mid-May.
The UWV now reports that it has received a total of 77,000 applications for the fourth period of the temporary Emergency Bridging Employment Measure (NOW).
