Last Wednesday, March 25, Queen Máxima attended the MKB-NL board meeting to express her involvement and support to all SME entrepreneurs who are now being hit hard by the corona crisis. As always, Piet van Veelen was present at this virtual meeting on behalf of FHI. He was also able to tell HM what FHI as a trade association is able to achieve during this period.

The Queen spoke with the chairmen of the industry organisations about the impact of the corona crisis on the companies affiliated with MKB-Nederland. Among other things, she expressed her concerns about entrepreneurs who are struggling with liquidity problems and who fear for the future of their company and employees. She also expressed the hope that the extensive economic support package will quickly find its way to the entrepreneurs.

Finally, she also made an urgent appeal to entrepreneurs to seek closer cooperation with each other, especially now. To learn from each other and inspire each other in these times.
