Chamber of Commerce Flash Poll: what do entrepreneurs think of government regulations?
From March 26 to 30, the Chamber of Commerce conducted a poll among more than ten thousand entrepreneurs about the government regulations taken in the context of the corona crisis. This has shown that the TOGS (compensation for entrepreneurs in affected sectors) and Tozo (Temporary bridging scheme for self-employed entrepreneurs) are the most relevant for entrepreneurs. The research also shows that the impact of the coronavirus is greatest on the regular activities of smaller companies.
The research also showed that larger companies (more than ten employees) only expect to encounter financial difficulties further in the future. At the moment, the concerns are greatest for the self-employed and micro-SMEs. This also includes the catering industry and personal services. In these sectors, four in ten entrepreneurs indicate that they are already experiencing financial problems.
