The new TCS transmits multiple temperature measurements (up to 32 signals) over just one twisted pair cable. The system provides accurate measurement and saves 25% of the cost compared to a standard temperature transmitter. In addition, the TCS is less than 13cm wide and can handle 16 measurement points!
The TCS accepts any combination of input signals and converts them to the Hart® digital communication protocol and transports the data over a long distance from the field to the control room.
The TCS uses Hart® or Modbus RTU through a converter module (HMC) for communication between the field and control room. The TCS is a loop powered unit and therefore does not require external power.
