Future-proof real estate is smart, safe and healthy

During the end-user meeting on September 2, NEVAP, FHI and FME will join forces and present three unique cases during a special event. Unique cases where innovative technology has been applied and provide benefits for owner and tenant.

Case 1: You want to manage smart buildings smartly
The first case is a collaboration between various housing associations and Octo, the pilot “Woco of the Future” was jointly developed. This examines how real estate assets can be mapped in a smart/modern way according to NEN2767. Dirk Huibers, OCTO and Jasper 't Hart, the Alliance, will share their experience about the “Woco of the Future.

Case 2: Secure buildings provide privacy
Buildings are increasingly connected and therefore increasingly vulnerable. Because buildings are increasingly connected to the outside world, a hacker has more and more opportunities to get “in”. Keeping a connected building safe requires attention, discipline and direction. Cyber security is not only provided by a single “secure” solution, but is many times more complex. A connected environment offers many opportunities and possibilities, but realize that this environment requires attention from a cybersecurity perspective. Not only technically, but also operationally. During this case, Mark Peggen from Cisco/Connect-D Digital Building Solutions shows the possibilities, opportunities and threats through practical examples and a structured approach.

Case 3: Buildings supply and buffer energy
Stefan Olsthoorn (Platform Manager Energy Storage NL) takes us into broader developments surrounding storage systems in buildings and the energy system. In the near future, buildings generate energy, can store this energy and work together with the environment. Vincent Ruijter (Director of iWell) shows how storage systems ensure optimal use of energy.
