JEAN-151 Solder Paste – Reliable Performance, Globally Recognized

The JEAN-151 solder paste (ROL0 according to IPC J-STD-004) has proven itself worldwide and occupies a unique position in the market. This paste is available in all standard lead-free and lead-containing alloys – such as SN100C®, SAC305, SN63 where the same flux medium is used each time.

The JEAN-151 has excellent printing performance and long stencil life. Thanks to its high adhesive strength, components remain firmly in place during the placement process and further processing. In reflow, reflow-N₂ and vapor phase processes, JEAN-151 delivers excellent soldering performance without beading. The clear residues facilitate visual and Automatic (AOI) inspection and are easy to clean.

REGI-SERIES Flux – The Right Choice for Every Process

After the success of “The Allrounder” REGI-RED, is the DIRECTORY SERIES expanded with:

• REGI-GOLD – "The Reliable": resin based flux with guaranteed reliability. Due to the Rosin base this flux gives however somewhat more visible residues but with the best process performance and highest reliability.
• REGI-GREEN – "The Hybrid": Low-VOC flux for those who focus on sustainability. The combination of Alcohol and Water (best of both worlds) makes this flux very widely applicable

• REGI-BLUE – “The Sustainable” our most sustainable flux ever!
  This revolutionary water flux leaves hardly any residues, is classified as ORL0, and combines sustainability with cost savings. The unique thing about this flux formulation is that the REGI-BLUE is the only VOC free flux in the world, and gives absolutely no corrosion.

StarCore®234-E Solder Wire – Optimal Performance in Every Application

StarCore®234-E combines the unique Balver Zinn StarCore® technology with the advanced flux chemistry of 234-E. Together with alloy SN100C or SAC305 this yields:

• Faster humidification
• Minimal to no “splashing”
• Safe, clear residues

Advantages: higher production speed, better quality, lower costs.

StarCore is ideally suited for robotic and laser soldering, but also performs excellently in manual soldering applications.
Balver Zinn offers a complete range of solder wire in various alloys, flux types, diameters and packaging forms.

SN100CV® – The New Standard in Reliable Soldering

Besides the well-known SN100C® variant exceeds SN100CV® the reliability and cost performance of SAC305. If the reliability of SAC305 needs to be exceeded at a MUCH lower price, SN100CV is the ideal solution. This alloy is available for all soldering processes and is mainly used in “liquid soldering” processes such as wave and selective soldering. Available in solder rods, solder wire and solder paste.

This alloy offers:

• Very high reliability
• Very low copper solution
• Minimal oxide formation
• Stable soldering process for wave, selective, reflow, manual and robotic soldering

Where other high-reliability alloys are limited to reflow and manual/robotic, SN100CV® in all processes – and at a lower cost.
