TDK Corporation (TSE 6762) introduces the TDK-Lambda series CUS800M and CUS1000M AC-DC power supplies in a 171 x 85 x 42.5 mm (6.73 x 3.35 x 1.67 in) housing. These very compact products have a nominal power of 800 W and 1000 W and are equipped with an adjustable speed fan, which produces 30 to 42 dBA of noise. The power supplies can be used in a wide range of applications, including medical, dental, test and measurement, transmitting and industrial equipment.<\/p>\r\n

The power supplies have an input voltage range of 85 to 265 VAC, deliver full power at 90 VAC and are available with 12 V, 24 V, 36 V or 48 V output. They are equipped as standard with 5 V\/2 A standby voltage, remote on\/off, remote sense and a power good signal. With efficiencies up to 95.5%, less internal heat is generated, which benefits reliable operation in the compact housing. No-load power consumption is typically <0.6 W when the power supply is in standby. These CUS-M versions can operate at ambient temperatures from -20 \u00b0C to +70 \u00b0C, with linear derating up to 60% of the load at +70 \u00b0C from 40 \u00b0C. Both models have a five-year warranty.<\/p>\r\n

The CUS800M and CUS1000M have an insulation voltage between input and output of 4,000 VAC (2 x MoPP); between input and earth this is 2,000 VAC (1 x MoPP) and between output and earth 1,500 VAC (1 x MoPP). This makes the power supplies suitable for B and BF classified medical equipment. The leakage current is <250 \u00b5A and the maximum operating, transport and storage altitude is 5,000m.<\/p>\r\n

Safety certifications include IEC\/EN\/ES 60601-1 and IEC\/EN\/UL 62368-1 with CE\/UKCA marking for the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS directives. The power supplies also comply with EN 55011-B and EN 55032-B standards for conducted and radiated emissions, as well as EN 61000-3-2 for harmonics, IEC60601-1-2 Edition 4 and IEC 61000-4 standards in the field of immunity.<\/p>\r\n
