Tijdens het event staan duurzaamheid, energie optimalisatie en effici\u00ebntie centraal. Kees Jan \u2019t Mannetje vertelt over ABB\u2019s ambitie: alle fabrieken CO2 neutraal in 2050.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cABB ontwikkelt duurzame oplossingen en anticipeert hiermee op de huidige marktvragen met toekomstbestendige technologie\u00ebn,\u201d zegt Kees Jan, development specialist bij ABB. Hij focust zich op energietransitie, duurzaamheid en circulariteit, energiebesparing en energiemanagement. Of, zoals hij het zelf zegt: \u201cAlle transities die op dit moment plaatsvinden.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Mission to Zero<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cWe streven naar netto nul emissies in 2050 en werken samen met onze klanten en leveranciers aan een CO2 neutrale samenleving,\u201d zegt Kees Jan. ABB realiseert de energietransitie door digitale technologie\u00ebn te combineren met maatregelen om het energieverbruik te verminderen en door gebruik te maken van hernieuwbare energiebronnen. Kees Jan stelt: \u201cOnze technologie\u00ebn voorkomen en verminderen emissies bij zowel onze klanten als onze eigen activiteiten.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p>In 2020 heeft ABB de Mission to Zero opgesteld. De missie van deze Mission to Zero is opgesplitst in twee stappen. Stap \u00e9\u00e9n, 80 procent van alle ABB fabrieken wereldwijd CO2 neutraal in 2030. En stap twee: 100 procent CO2 neutraal in 2050.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>De fabriek in Ede<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Eind 2021 is begonnen met het duurzaamheidstraject voor de ABB fabriek in Ede. En in september 2022 organiseerden ze het persevent waarin ze wereldkundig maakte dat de fabriek de CO2 neutraal-status had bereikt. Dit is inclusief compensatie door het inkopen van certificaten.<\/p>\r\n<p>De fabriek in Ede is een productielocatie voor inbouwdozen en installatiekasten en verbruikt ongeveer 80.000 kub gas. Dit staat voor 155 ton CO2 uitstoot.<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> In december 2023 heeft de fabriek de benodigde vergunningen van de provincie gekregen om een warmte-koude opslag (WKO-opslag) installatie te kunnen installeren. De planning is dat de installatie aan het einde van deze zomer 2024 wordt opgeleverd. Daarmee is de fabriek volledig ge\u00eblektrificeerd en kan de gasinstallatie eruit.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Netcongestie<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>E\u00e9n van de thema\u2019s die nu hoog op de agenda staan is energiemonitoring en netcongestie. En dan toegespitst op het monitoren van het energieverbruik achter de meter. Dit heeft ABB zoveel inzichten opgeleverd dat ze hun hele productieproces hebben aangepast en geoptimaliseerd. Kees Jan gaat hier dieper op in tijdens zijn presentatie.<\/p>\r\n<p>Het resultaat van het energiemonitoringproces is dat de fabriek in Ede nu de verbruikte energie effici\u00ebnter en over meer uren kan spreiden. Daarnaast monitort ABB iedere individuele machine en weten ze per product het verbruik dat nodig is voor het productieproces.<\/p>\r\n<p>E\u00e9n van de cruciale zaken die Kees Jan graag wil overbrengen is: om het hele proces succesvol af te ronden is het noodzakelijk om het eigen personeel en de lokale partners vanaf het begin erbij te betrekken.<\/p>\r\n<p>Zijn advies aan bedrijven die in de beginfase zitten van een verduurzamingstraject: \u201cStart met het goed inzichtelijk maken van je energiehuishouding.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Wil je meer weten?
