That is why they have developed a new, revolutionary instrument; the Subsea Load Monitor (SLM), which enables precise dynamic weight control at an astonishing depth, up to 6000 meters!<\/p>\r\n<p>Subsea activities are part of a complex industry in which precision, reliability and efficiency are essential. To maintain the measurement quality of the Subsea Load Monitor, compact strain gauges with high accuracy and durability are required.<\/p>\r\n<p>Due to their specific requirements and Zemic&#039;s expertise, Braaten Technology has chosen Zemic as the supplier of the strain gauges used. Together with the engineering department, we have designed a custom strain gauge for the Subsea Load Monitor. In their search for suitable strain gauges they came across Zemic. Zemic is a leading manufacturer and designer of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zemiceurope.com\/nl\/categories\/rekstroken.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">strain gauges<\/a> and force sensors. We offer a full range of strain gauges and also custom design products that are water resistant and have high reliability. Braaten has explained the exact needs regarding the weighing function of the Subsea Load Monitor. Zemic then designed a custom strain gauge that met these customer specifications.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Which Zemic strain gauge is used?<\/h2>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zemiceurope.com\/nl\/categories\/rekstroken.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strain gauges<\/a> are usually installed on a surface to measure the applied force. Given the specific requirements, Zemic has developed a custom strain gauge that integrates seamlessly with the other necessary sensors.
