In this article we give you 5 ways to charge your car cheaply\u00a0<strong>\u2013\u00a0<\/strong>both at home and on the road.<\/p>\r\n<h2 id=\"ember1761\">Cheap charging at home<\/h2>\r\n<h3 id=\"ember1762\">1. Use dynamic electricity prices<\/h3>\r\n<p id=\"ember1763\">Dynamic energy contracts are very interesting when you drive electrically.<\/p>\r\n<p id=\"ember1764\">A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.loxone.com\/nlnl\/smart-home\/energie\/slimme-laadpaal\/?utm_source=FHI&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=FHI&amp;utm_content=elektrische-auto-opladen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">smart charging station<\/a>\u00a0such as the Loxone Wallbox can follow the prices of the spot market (the short-term energy market). At a charging speed (1-phase) of 3.7 kWh you need approximately 12 hours for this.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Charging for 12 hours at \u20ac0.31\/kWh costs \u20ac3.72<\/li>\r\n<li>Charging for 12 hours at \u20ac0.18\/kWh COSTS \u20ac2.16<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p id=\"ember1771\">If we charge three times a week, this equates to a monthly saving of \u20ac18.72 or \u20ac224.64 annually. Simply by charging at the right time.<\/p>\r\n<h3 id=\"ember1772\">2. Charge via solar panels<\/h3>\r\n<p id=\"ember1773\">Would you like to charge your electric car for free? That is possible, at least if you have solar panels.
