Compared to alternative solutions, the robot has low power consumption and does not require expensive carriers, nitrogen shielding or cleaning of the flux residue used in the soldering process. The PLC used controls all equipment, such as the transport, the soldering iron with the correct temperature, the position of the soldering iron, the soldering wire feed and the soldering point
