Word from the chairman
<\/strong>Dear members, <\/p>\r\n

For many years I have fulfilled the role of chairman of the EMVT association with great enthusiasm and pleasure, but as with many things in life, everything comes to an end. I would like to (physically) hand over the gavel to my successor, one of the members of our association. Here is my appeal: who wants to take on the role of chairman in the coming years and further guide the ideas of our beautiful association during the energy transition?<\/p>\r\n

Defense puts the first hydrogen vehicles into use
<\/strong>Odorless and colorless hydrogen: 33 new Defense vehicles will be driving on it in the coming months. The first 9 have been in use since June 28. A hydrogen car is an electric vehicle with hydrogen as energy storage. The vehicle uses the electricity released from hydrogen.<\/p>\r\n

TU Delft organizes workshops:
\u201cFlexBat meets FLEXINet\u201d: <\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Adding intelligent flexibility to the distribution network.
Flexibility is the key for a sustainable energy system. The more renewable energy we use, the more flexible the entire energy system must be.<\/p>\r\n

Various forms of energy storage will play a crucial role. On October 18, TU Delft, together with various researchers and the Top Sector Energy, is organizing a workshop on the importance of flexibility to accelerate the integration of energy systems.<\/p>\r\n


Lunch session October 28
<\/strong>On Friday afternoon, October 28, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, we will organize a lunch session for you as an EMVT member via Microsoft Teams.
Presents during this lunch session Bram van Dam (TU Eindhoven<\/strong>) his PhD \u201cThe impact of a conventional transformer standard on Solid-State Transformers (SST)\u201d and Jesper Lansink Rotgerink (University of Twente)<\/strong> \u201cCrosstalk Analysis in Aerospace Environments\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Review of DEKRA visit
<\/strong>At the start of the summer on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the matchmaking event was EMVT-EMC-ESD association with the theme "reliable sustainable energy". The matchmaking event was held at DEKRA-Arnhem.<\/p>\r\n

After a welcome and short safety instruction from Hans Overbeek from DEKRA, the EMVT chairman gave a presentation on \u201cEMVT, the next 25 years\u201d, followed by a presentation by Niek Moonen from the University of Twente on \u201cenergy access\u201d and \u201cmini grids\u201d. Sanne de Goede from DEKRA (sales director product testing) gave a presentation about DEKRA and an introduction to the tour of the EMC and battery laboratory. It was a very inspiring and educational afternoon, the presentations can be requested from Miranda (miranda@fhi.nl) and the attached photo gives an impression.<\/p>\r\n

EMVT-ALV
<\/strong>The EMVT will organize its annual General Members Meeting on Wednesday, November 23. This year it will take place at HAN W@TTS in Arnhem from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
