The opening lecture of the '<\/strong>Food Safety'<\/strong><\/a>seminar is provided by Senior Inspector\/CSI Microbiology, <\/strong>Coen van der Weijden of the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA).<\/strong><\/a> He will explain within which legal framework the NVWA supervises food production, which technological changes in supervision give rise to more attention to machines and list examples of the dangers we encounter with machines used to produce food.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

After this inspiring explanation, various technical service providers and suppliers are discussed who go into more depth about what should be taken into account in practice.<\/p>\r\n

Andr\u00e9 Zutphen of Munters Moisture Management<\/a> takes you into the world of climate control and humidity in factories and refrigeration. High humidity, condensation or wet surfaces fuel rapid growth of microorganisms, including fungi and bacteria. How do you prevent this?<\/p>\r\n

Siert Wiersema from AERZEN Netherlands<\/a> will help you choose the process air generators \u2013 blowers and compressors. This choice plays an important role in meeting the basic hygiene and product safety requirements. When working with potentially explosive materials, such as flour (dust explosions), explosion protection of blowers and compressors is also a basic requirement.<\/p>\r\n

Then tells Charles Scriwanek of HiFlux Filtration<\/a> you can learn everything about the auto-line self-cleaning liquid filters in industrial and hygienic design. This is a new type of filter that allows producers to produce food safely.<\/p>\r\n

Berton van Rens van Dinnissen<\/a> addresses the following issues: Why traceability is so important for food safety and quality? How do food manufacturers gain full insight into the origin and quality of all materials? What does it take to achieve full traceability? What are the advantages of in-house production? At the end he discusses the certification of EHEDG, on what basis Ir WNA Viscount of EHEDG<\/a> will take over and share the latest developments and conclude the seminar in which all parts come together.<\/p>\r\n
