To perform genetic research, the DNA or RNA requires extraction and purification from the sample material. The sample material can differ widely from tissue, blood, saliva, plant leaves or soil, but the extraction process remains the same. In the past, DNA\/RNA extraction was a tedious and cost- and time-heavy process. However, rapid innovation and automation of laboratory workflows by MolGen ensures that extraction becomes fast and optimized. Automating the extraction workflow using MolGen automated systems is especially useful for high-throughput laboratories as it reduces human error and increases traceability and standardization. Besides, automating relieves lab personnel from repetitive tasks, and allows them to work on more experiments in parallel. MolGen offers a variety of extraction hardware and depending on your throughput (high or low) and volume you can choose the best suitable PurePrep system from our line to serve your needs. The\u00a0PurePrep extraction systems<\/a>\u00a0are open and flexible systems, which range from low-throughput, with the PurePrep Mini with up to 16 samples per run, to high-throughput, with the\u00a0PurePrep 96<\/a>\u00a0with 96 samples per run. For up to 24 and 32 samples throughput, MolGen offers the PurePrep 24, PurePrep 24D and PurePrep 32.<\/p>\r\n

By applying magnetic-based extraction methods, the easy-to-use process is optimized for a fast and efficient extraction, with the standard protocol being around 40 minutes. Additionally, MolGen offers the extraction systems\u00a0PurePrep 24<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0PurePrep 24D<\/a>, which are optimized to process high-volume samples of up to 10 ml, such as blood samples.<\/p>\r\n

These systems all have an easy-to-use interface and are user-friendly with a small footprint. All PurePrep systems are completely open, and all parameters can be changed for complete optimization. Currently, there are already over 250 PurePrep 96 systems running worldwide. Plastic consumables are available for purchase from MolGen as well.<\/p>\r\n
