In order to maintain this leading position, the logistics sector in our country will have to further increase its efficiency and limit CO2 emissions. Industry 4.0 can make an important contribution to this.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Port of Rotterdam is committed to being the smartest port worldwide. The Port Authority focuses on the energy transition, digitalisation and innovation. Following the example of the port, other companies in distribution and logistics also see that these are the issues of the future. Issues in which &#039;smart data handling&#039; plays an important role. ICT therefore developed a data fabric for a large logistics service provider: a platform for data management and governance that enables the business itself to take the helm when developing dashboards and other tools that you need in a data-driven business strategy.
