This also applies to the latest innovations in the field of digital drive systems for machines and control loops with position encoders for measurement feedback.<\/p>\r\n<p>Transmission via this new serial interface is more reliable and faster than ever, and can also include additional data such as engine specific parameters and sensor information. The extensive diagnostics and inclusion of encoders in troubleshooting routines ensure very high system reliability.<\/p>\r\n<p>Due to its existing features and benefits, EnDat has become a standard and globally recognized interface for position encoders in the machine tool, electronics and automation industries.
