While the VM3 still used an operating system from Microsoft, the VM3A \u2013 as the name might suggest due to the addition of the A \u2013 runs on Android.<\/p>\r\n<p>With the new 12-inch full-screen truck terminal, Honeywell is responding to the need for full-screen devices that arises from the rise of Android apps or graphical web applications. In addition to the suitability for Android apps or graphical web applications, industrial resistance and flexibility are one of the most important features of the VM1A and VM3A. The advantage of industrial resistance is that equipment requires little service and maintenance. If a malfunction does occur, the \u201csmart docking\u201d concept allows you to quickly and easily switch terminals, so that a forklift is up and running again within 10 seconds. In the event of wear and tear, the touchscreen can be replaced by yourself without the intervention of a service technician, which guarantees high usability of the device.<\/p>\r\n<p>Important features of the VM3A are:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Smart docking (backwards-compatible with VM1, VM3 and VM1A)<\/li>\r\n<li>Field replaceable front panel<\/li>\r\n<li>Future-proof Mobility Edge Android program (updates until 2028)<\/li>\r\n<li>12.1 inch display with resistive and capacitive touch<\/li>\r\n<li>Display for indoor and outdoor use (better readability in sunlight)<\/li>\r\n<li>ColdStore
