In order to function reliably, the installed cables must therefore be resistant to oil, petrol, ozone and UV radiation as well as to coolants, lubricants or cold cleaning agents. HELUKABEL&#039;s drag chain cables from the MULTIFLEX 512-PUR UL\/CSA series perform optimally under these demanding conditions. These highly flexible cables are now certified to the internationally recognized NEK 606 (Norwegian Electrotechnical Committee) standard, which defines the requirements for halogen-free cables with resistance to drilling mud. In addition, they pass the more stringent DNV (Det Norske Veritas) marine approval tests for flexible electrical cables (CP-0417). This ensures that the cables can withstand the toughest operating conditions.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Mechanically stable and resistant to chemicals<br \/><\/strong>Conventional jacket materials tend to swell when exposed to aggressive agents such as lubricants and coolants, which negatively affects cable performance and shortens service life. The technical PUR polymers used by HELUKABEL are significantly more resistant and therefore extend the lifespan of the cable. This can drastically reduce downtime or disruptions in the production process. MULTIFLEX 512-PUR UL\/CSA, available with or without shielding, is suitable for nominal voltages up to 600 volts. It is designed to withstand extreme mechanical stress and can be used at ambient temperatures from -30 to +90 degrees Celsius. This also benefits the service life of the cable: the higher the operating temperatures, the faster conventional insulation materials fail because their mechanical properties deteriorate. The cable is flame retardant, resistant to weather influences and retains its high tear and abrasion resistance, even at low temperatures. The minimum bending radius in motion corresponds to five times the cable diameter and three times the diameter in static condition. The durability of the drag chain cable under bending stresses has been tested in approximately ten million alternating bending cycles. The reliable performance of these cables is therefore guaranteed during multi-shift operations and when exposed to the highest bending stresses.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
