This has reached the highest level since 1982, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/business\/2022\/jan\/19\/uk-inflation-hits-near-three-decade-high-rising-to-54\">reports The Guardian<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<li>In 2020, the EU more than met its target of generating at least 20 percent of sustainable electricity. <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/web\/products-eurostat-news\/-\/ddn-20220119-1\">According to Eurostat<\/a> the share of green energy amounted to 22.1 percent.
