JOZ has been developing manure and feed pusher systems for livestock farmers all over the world for more than seventy years. As part of a new innovation round towards circular farming, the North Holland company designed an AGV. It asked for help from ALTEN for software development.<\/p>\r\n

Human influence on the climate is high on the political agenda. In addition to global warming and rising sea levels, the Netherlands is also paying a lot of attention to the nitrogen crisis. As a result of this crisis, the maximum speed on highways has been reduced from 130 km\/h to 100 km\/h. This is the most drastic measure for citizens, but there are sectors that are much more drastically affected in their activities. For example, farmers must significantly reduce nitrogen emissions from the evaporation of manure, in the form of ammonia. In the search for a solution, Minister Carola Schouten of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality was met with fierce criticism, resulting in large-scale demonstrations by farmers.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\r\n\t

Het Noord-Hollandse JOZ is gespecialiseerd in het fabriceren van oplossingen voor de veehouderij. De slogan \u2018home of the clean stable\u2019 past dan ook bij dit innoverende bedrijf, dat met circular farming de veehouders hun vrijheid wil teruggeven. JOZ is ervan overtuigd dat technische innovaties aanzienlijk kunnen bijdragen aan de oplossing van de stikstofproblematiek.<\/p>\n

In 2020\/2021 heeft JOZ vijf productinnovaties ge\u00efntroduceerd die elk een schakel vormen in het circular farming-principe. Een daarvan is de Barn-e-mestrobot. Dit automatische geleide voertuig (agv) verzamelt de ontlasting van de koeien in de stal en deponeert deze op een vaste plek. De Barn-e is speciaal ontwikkeld voor dichte vloeren. Het frequent schoonmaken van de vloer zorgt voor een goede hygi\u00ebne in de stal en een verbetering van het dierenwelzijn. Tot slot neemt deze automatisering ook werk uit handen van de
