In the autumn of 2021, the COVID-19 virus is still raging through the Netherlands and other European countries. In the summer, it was the normal expectation that everything would be able to open up again. Your sector therefore planned several physical meetings. This is also desirable in building communities in the Built Environment. In fact, the people who attended the Bits, Bricks & Bahaviour conference in De Kuip or the meeting with VUMC and Sweco have experienced those benefits in concrete terms.<\/p>\r\n

The most exciting was the presentation by Jeroen Tamsma, design manager of Stadion Feyenoord City. The Sunday before the conference Bits, Bricks & Behavior<\/a> the press went wild on this project and also in that same week a lot of and varying news followed. The 180 visitors present at our conference could hear the actual state of affairs first hand. A big advantage of a physical meeting: expert speakers who provide the visitors with knowledge with a good nuance.<\/p>\r\n

On October 12, the attendees were made aware of the possibilities that exist in a collaboration. VUMC and Sweco discussed a method in which the client is inspired by being taken along by various innovative and sometimes experimental solutions. In a public tender and with Packages of Requirements, the processes are stuck and there is not much room in the business chain that is stuck in the so-called 'construction column'.<\/p>\r\n

From all sides, that straitjacket is seen as oppressive. There will be a follow-up in March 2022, to look for space in the business chain, so that innovations and inspiration are sought. Specific groups are invited for this, to learn from each other and to do things really differently.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\r\n\t
