The automation in the building links all kinds of systems, facilities, functionalities and therefore all kinds of parties involved with each other. A system integrator can both the technical systems and the collaboration<\/a> relax. Ed Matser of Building Technology will in his presentation<\/a> here to go into. Based on the project new construction Faculty of Social Sciences for Radboud University, end users, consultants and installers are included in the process. The beautiful role of a system integrator is captivatingly presented by this speaker.<\/p>\r\n

Ed Matser speaks from his broad experience within the built environment. On his own site are those examples to read after<\/a>. He mentions the WTC in Utrecht. The building offers 32,000 m2 of office space, is perfectly accessible by public transport and is located near the shops of Hoog Catharijne and the city centre. The building is built in the basic shell, the final finishing will take place in consultation with the various tenants.<\/p>\r\n

However, WTC wants to be sure in advance that it will be a building where the well-being of the customer is central. By pleasant light, by good use of colours and by applying pleasant materials. And also by a good technical shell: automation that helps the customer unobtrusively.<\/p>\r\n

In that case, the solution was a control system that is very flexible in use, without having to carry out work on the floor for every change. We combined technically advanced components with a low investment and low operating costs.<\/p>\r\n

But the example of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Radboud University is also discussed read more<\/a>. Then you see that with current technology there are possibilities to get a low energy demand with a responsive building and a smart layout of systems. The combination of insulation, sustainable energy sources and the use of circular materials also offer advantages to the construction process and the building itself.<\/p>\r\n
