The basis lies in safety, stability and reliability of the systems, to offer the different groups of users comfort, functionality and freedom of movement in a building. In a Smart Building, the technology present is tailored to the employee or visitor and the activities that take place in the building.<\/p>\r\n<p>In an existing building, the existing ICT and building-related infrastructure must be used. The building-related installations, user installations and ICT must therefore support the users integrally in the work at and activities outside the workplace. It is therefore important to conduct a preliminary investigation into the technical state of affairs before starting the transition to a Smart Building.<\/p>\r\n<p>The products and techniques that are used are present in the ICT network and are controlled via the IP protocol. If a clear IP platform is created, it is possible to combine functions and to enable the integration of devices, security and building-related systems. The role of administrators is therefore large, because they have information about the operation of the building.<\/p>\r\n<p>Bringing the information together on a single data platform provides insight, which, for example, enables energy-saving measures.<\/p>\r\n<p>To make such projects successful, collaboration in the ecosystem of various providers, direct managers and users is necessary. During the conference <a href=\"https:\/\/fhi.nl\/en\/digitaalgebouwvandetoekomst\/programma-2021\/\">Bits, Bricks &amp; Behavior<\/a> on November 9th in De Kuip that chain is present. In order to link the desired qualities to each other a &#039;Man in the Middle&#039; is needed.
