To enable smart communication between systems, different systems (and their data) must be integrated in a user-friendly and secure way. In the <a href=\"https:\/\/fhi.nl\/en\/digitaalgebouwvandetoekomst\/data-integration-for-smart-communication\/\">presentation<\/a> by Pieter Pauwels, the available methods for data integration and system integration are explained based on experience from the <a href=\"https:\/\/brains4buildings.org\/\">Brains4Buildings project<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p>Another Brains4Buildings project that will be discussed in the Bits, Bricks &amp; behavior program is the field lab &#039;The Green Village&#039;. A sustainable future requires innovative ideas and new applicable methods and techniques.
