At Expice we continuously strive to be a reliable partner for you. Of course, we also do this in difficult times. For example, the industry is currently dealing with undesirable developments in the field of raw material shortages. Develop what you might be concerned about. This is why we at Expice find it extra important to be transparent.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

In our industry, shortages result in problems for our suppliers. It is currently quite a challenge for them to deliver the ordered components. The delivery dates they confirm often cannot be met and we are confronted with last-minute changes in stocks, availability or unexpected delays in shipments. Delivery times of 52 weeks already occur! Unfortunately, planned productions may be delayed at the last minute. We try to prevent this, although unfortunately it is not always possible.<\/p>\r\n

Unpredictable prices for PCBA parts<\/h2>\r\n

The prices of components and related products have also become unpredictable. Price changes of 400% occur. We are therefore forced to check product prices for current component prices upon ordering. Unfortunately, we cannot always prevent product prices, including those of recently offered products, from having to be revised.<\/p>\r\n

Expice's advice<\/h2>\r\n

We would like to advise you to go through your order book and determine future needs. Do not rely on the 'standard' recorded and agreed delivery times. In line with this, the question we often receive is whether we can purchase components with a long delivery time for planned production. The aim is to avoid long delivery times. Unfortunately this is not a solution. The fluctuations in the availability of components are so great that components that are available today may no longer be available tomorrow. Our advice is to place an order in time. This way we can order the necessary components directly. We can then get started straight away with components that are difficult to obtain.<\/p>\r\n
