It must be ensured that the dangerous movement comes to a stop before the dangerous point is reached \u2013 and throughout the entire life cycle of the machine.<\/p>\r\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/bladeren.huisstijlweb.nu\/SICK-Service-Solutions-2021\/14\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stop time measurement<\/a> for machines is necessary prior to initial commissioning, after major changes or in case of expected changes due to use, for example brake wear.<\/p>\r\n<p>During the stop time measurement, SICK measures the time between the activation of a stop signal and the cessation of the dangerous movement of a machine. The measurement results are used to verify the minimum distances according to ISO 13855 Annex D.<\/p>\r\n<p>Required measures can be taken in time if necessary. Regularly checked measuring instruments ensure that high, continuous inspection quality is guaranteed.<\/p>\r\n<p>Scope of service:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Carrying out the stop time measurement in accordance with ISO IEC 17020, using regularly inspected measuring instruments (ISO 17025)<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00a0Taking into account national machine-specific normative requirements (e.g. for older machines)<\/li>\r\n<li>Calculation of the required minimum distance between the dangerous point and the technical protection system in accordance with EN ISO 13855<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00a0Drawing up and
