An important part of this is the addition of coagulants during the flocculation process. The flocculation process ensures the removal of substances from the groundwater and surface water. The dosing of these coagulants, such as FeCl3, FeSO4 and AlSO4, is not easy, which often results in overdosing. And that is not desirable, because coagulants are expensive.
