Description Itech IT6000C Bi-directional power supplies<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Itech IT6000C series bi-directional power supplies are new programmable bi-directional power supplies for higher powers with special properties. This DC power supply is bi-directional and can both supply and absorb current and power. Switching from source to sink is seamless. In addition, the multitude of interfaces that are standard on the IT6000C, the battery test and emulation functions, the extensive solar array simulation for PV inverter test and the stability of this power supply under varying voltages and loads.<\/p>\r\n

Characteristics<\/strong>
From 5 kW to 144 kW, the IT6000C series includes more than 40 versions. The maximum output voltage is 2250V and the maximum current is 2040 A. Due to the power flex range of voltage and current, the maximum power of the IT6000C can be used very widely.<\/p>\r\n

The IT6000C family offers fast rise and fall times and programmable output resistance. This is useful, among other things, when emulating batteries. The IT6000C versions are designed for continuous sink\/source applications such as automotive electronics, solar panel IV curve simulation, DC motors and batteries. If this bi-directional power supply works as a load, the power consumed from the DUT is regenerated for return to the mains.<\/p>\r\n

A classic two-quadrant power supply shows a jump and discontinuity at the transitions between positive and negative current. The mentioned IT6000C series is a high-speed two-quadrant power supply with CC\/CV priority function to realize fast current transition between power mode and electronic load mode, to quickly and seamlessly switch between power sourcing and sinking. That makes it suitable for measurements of rapid battery charging and discharging without sacrificing accuracy.<\/p>\r\n

The up\/down time of the IT6000C power supply is less than 15..30ms depending on the load. The transient response time is shorter than 2ms. Changed setpoints or loads are processed quickly without overshoot. For larger capacities, multiple units can be connected in parallel in Master-Slave mode. The excellent performance remains intact. The units are easily programmable and of course have List mode for storing, recalling and executing program steps.<\/p>\r\n

The IT6000C series power supplies provide built-in test curves for automotive voltages and test curves to support the simulation function for testing the (solar panel IV) voltage curves with the optional SAS1000 software.<\/p>\r\n

The IT6000C series power supplies are OVP, OCP, OPP and OTP secured and equipped with USB, CAN, LAN and digital IO interface as standard.<\/p>\r\n
