The Tax and Customs Administration&#039;s request to companies is to file their payroll tax return on time.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>This is of great importance for the Emergency Fund (NOW scheme), which we also discussed earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rijksoverheid.nl\/actueel\/nieuws\/2020\/03\/17\/coronavirus-kabinet-neemt-pakket-nieuwe-maatregelen-voor-banen-en-economie\">message<\/a> in our corona file.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Why is this important?<\/strong><br \/><br \/>The data from the wage declaration is used by the UWV (implementer of the NOW scheme). In order for the Emergency Fund to function properly, they need the most up-to-date data possible. This allows them to quickly see what you are entitled to as an employer. Hence this extra call to file your declaration on time. <br \/><br \/>Look <a href=\"https:\/\/www.belastingdienst.nl\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/bldcontentnl\/berichten\/nieuws\/verzoek-aan-werkgevers-doe-op-tijd-uw-aangifte-loonheffingen\">at the Tax Authorities<\/a> for more
