There have been several incidents with batteries and accumulators in mobile phones and electric vehicles, a well-known example of this is the problem with the overheated and exploded battery of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The three biggest dangers for a battery or accumulator are overheating, overload \/ incorrect charging and mechanical damage. At the Energy Storage event, testing and measuring accumulators and accumulators is an important theme. In the track Test & Measure<\/a> inform speakers of exhibitors TT&MS<\/a>, Keysight Technologies<\/a>, Weiss Technik Netherlands<\/a>, Batenburg Mechatronics<\/a> and E-charging<\/a> (On behalf of CN Red<\/a>) you about the various test and measurement methods.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

A Li-ion battery alone has 40 different test specifications. Andr\u00e9 Handgraaf of TT&MS will discuss this in his presentation<\/a> on the different types of test methods and equipment for Li-ion batteries and Wesley Witteveen from Weiss Technik will discuss his presentation<\/a> in addition to the test solutions and equipment for these Li-ion batteries, also on climate simulation tests. Roy Hali of Batenburg Mechatronica takes you along<\/a> on the advantages and disadvantages of testing Li-ion batteries using the low frequency AC-IR method or the DC-IR method.<\/p>\r\n

Nawfal Al-Zubaidi R-Smith of Keysight Technologies presents<\/a> the latest developments in measuring the current state of battery cells and modules using advanced impedance spectroscopy with micro-Ohm resolution.<\/p>\r\n

Thijs van Wijk from ElaadNL goes in<\/a> on the experiences with inverters in vehicles and DC chargers and the research carried out on the influence of supraharmonics on the grid and connected devices.<\/p>\r\n
