In the presentation of Ronald Reinders<\/a> by Configure Me<\/a> and Laurens Rolf<\/a> by Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions<\/a> During the Machinebouw event, the speakers will discuss setting up modular configurable machines. How do you convert this into a (mechanical) engineering model and what are the points of attention? In addition to the design practice, the lecture program is full of software and hardware innovations to increase production quality. Rick de Vries from Advantech<\/a> tells you the current possibilities of applying 'deep learning'.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n

In collaboration with Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions, Ronald Reinders of Configure Me shows a practical example of modular engineering. They also discuss with the audience how far you should continue with automation and where to stop. They also discuss the link with product management and standardization.<\/p>\r\n

Software and hardware innovations: Deep Learning<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Rick de Vries, sales manager IIoT at Advantech explains how your production quality can be increased by applying deep learning in your machine vision application. Nowadays, there are various suppliers of both hardware accelerators and software for deep learning. Think of Intel Deep Learning Suite (DLS), OpenVino Software Developing Kit (SDK), Intel Xeon, Movidius & Arria10 accelerators, NVIDIA CUDA software, Jetson SoC and Quadro & Tesla GPU cards.

But how do you increase your productivity and reliability in your production environment? Which software and hardware is relevant to you? And what are the advantages and disadvantages for you as a Machine Builder? Relevant questions, which they are happy to answer.<\/p>\r\n
