\u201cRealizing the energy transition in co-creation without energy loss\u201d is the title of the presentation Bob Seffinga<\/a> during the Bits, Bricks & Behavior Conference<\/a> Based on the Energy Transition Wheel of HEYDAY Facility Management<\/a> In this presentation, Bob Seffinga will take you through the 4 factors that are important for realizing an energy transition.<\/p>\r\n

Bob Seffinga worked for a number of years in various healthcare organizations as a facilities manager before starting to work as a Corporate Social Responsibility project leader in 2016. To complete his MBA training, Bob investigated which factors play a role in achieving an energy-neutral real estate stock. \u201cIt surprised me how relatively easy concrete steps can be taken to make an existing real estate stock energy neutral,\u201d says Bob Seffinga. With the introduction of the Energy Transition Wheel, Seffinga wants to help organizations take steps to make their real estate energy neutral.<\/p>\r\n

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is high on the agenda of more and more organizations. Organizations find it increasingly important to contribute to a sustainably livable world. Energy consumption is then an important topic to examine.<\/p>\r\n

To make the transition to an energy-neutral real estate stock, you must take four factors into account: economy, technology, behavior and policy. Seffinga: \u201cIf you manage to optimally coordinate these factors, a flywheel is created that makes the energy transition possible.\u201d You can then take concrete steps by starting with describing the ambition, setting up a task force and to provide insight into consumption and costs.<\/p>\r\n
