What exactly does the work entail of an inspector at the Telecom Agency who focuses on inspecting petrol pumps and LPG installations? An article in the AD provides an insight.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

With the head 'How much petrol really comes out of the hose? Gijs checks 4000 pumps'<\/a> the work of inspector Gijs Stek is followed. He checks whether petrol pumps deliver the correct amount of fuel.<\/p>\r\n

During a visit to a Shell station in Nieuwegein, he noted no unusual features. The seals on the pulse counter and fluid meter are in good condition, the stickers on equipment with the date of maintenance come from recognized inspectors.<\/p>\r\n

The Telecom Agency inspects 2,500 pumps every year. According to the inspector, fraud is very rare.<\/p>\r\n
