In just 250 milliseconds, the subconscious brain determines whether a situation, object or person poses a threat. This is done based on standard responses from our brain, also called instincts. But what are the consequences if I can predict and control this threat or emergency? Does my personality play a role in this? And the most important question: what role does leadership play in these situations? Marcel de Munck<\/a> van D&F will tell you more about this during his presentation at LabSafety.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Subconsciously, your brain responds to stimuli in the same way as our ancestors would have if they were faced with a sabre-toothed tiger: 'freeze', 'fight' or 'flight'. As a result, the autonomic nervous system and the hormonal system are activated to deal with this threat. Marcel de Munck<\/a> is an expert in the field of safety culture and behavior, and responsible for improving safety performance at companies in various sectors. With his expertise in change management and psychology, he helps organizations that want to change, or want to break through, to realize their goals. His passion is to help people and organizations to become who they want to be.<\/p>\r\n

Marcel likes to deal with issues that are about people, drives, ideals and motivation. But also about daring to explore boundaries, daring to be vulnerable, about courage. His motto is: \u201cDon't let your dreams live and die in your mind.
