The efforts of the participating companies have resulted in more than 22 thousand visitors to the fair World of Technology & Science 2018<\/a> managed to find. The World of Laboratory attracted 5,063 visitors during the 4 days. Many themes, X-peditions and seminars have been designed together with the participants.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

For the theme Life Science<\/a> there was great interest, not only the seminar but also the X-pedition was well attended. The speakers were involved in the seminar at an early stage by shooting a number of videos on location about their inspiring projects. This resulted in a well-filled room. The 6 participants in the X-pedition demonstrated the complete workflow for working with cells. The entire process from personal safety, cell culture, sample selection to analysis was discussed.<\/p>\r\n

Also the other themes, Safety in the lab<\/a>, Calibration & Quality<\/a> and Food & Beverage<\/a> attracted enthusiastic and interested visitors. A total of 24 exhibitors took part in the X-peditions, divided over 4 themes.<\/p>\r\n

New this edition was a seminar entirely focused on one technological development. Photonics<\/a> is seen as a key technology for the 21st century. During the seminar the role of photonics in the lab and the way in which this will develop in the coming years were discussed. In addition to a background story, various application areas such as medical photonics and food safety were discussed, making it a good match for the interests of the visitors.<\/p>\r\n

All facts and figures from the evaluations are now being collected and will soon be shared with the exhibitors. We look forward to World of Technology & Science 2020, where we will encounter many facets of the past edition but also many new solutions. Because one thing is certain: technical development has never been so fast.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\r\n\t
