A good guideline is to comply with the PIC\/S standards for the preparation of medicines. For <strong>sterile preparations <\/strong>it is essential that appropriate precautions are taken to prevent contamination of the product through contact with the operator. They must therefore be carried out in a clean room. Aseptically prepared products must also be in <strong>a LAF box or isolator <\/strong>be edited.<\/p><p>The isolators in particular are a major adjustment for hospital pharmacies. After all, they must be decontaminated after each use.
