One of the students is removing the plastic layer from the solar panel. \u201cWe just have to activate it later,\u201d he says. \u201cAnd then of course hack it and connect it to the home assistant,\u201d he adds. The third-year students are at the trade fair for the first time. \u201cThere are nice things to see everywhere and I am looking for an internship. Collecting the different parts is a nice starting point for talking to companies. This really feels like a candy store.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the other side of hall 9 at KITT Engineering, the electronics enthusiasts have already taken a step further. One by one, the visitors connect their creation to the computer to program it. Teun Noordkamp of KITT Engineering talks about the development of the Omgevingsmonitor. \u201cThe goal of the gadget is to let people gain experience with electronics and make the step towards technology. It is a boyhood dream for me to work on this.
