A Dimensioning, Weighing and Scanning (DWS) system automates the measuring, weighing and scanning of parcels and pallets in logistics. This system works with sensors<\/a>, scanners and software, resulting in accurate data collection. This improves inventory management and speeds up order processing. In addition, DWS systems increase efficiency by reducing manual labor and enabling real-time monitoring, especially when integrated with existing systems.<\/p>\r\n

For the weighing functionality, Zemic Europe<\/a> load cells, such as the BM11 bending beam<\/a>, which are essential for DWS systems. There are two types of DWS systems available: the single-scale system, which processes 3,500 packages per hour with an accuracy of 30 grams, and the dual-scale system, which can handle up to 6,000 packages per hour. Thanks to these systems, the processing speed and accuracy in logistics centers have almost doubled, resulting in great operational efficiency.<\/p>\r\n
