The aim of this partnership is to enable the integration of mioty devices through the same mechanisms as those used for IO-Link devices. The advantage of this is that users do not need new tools for mioty.<\/p>\n<p>By combining the mioty alliance\u2019s expertise in wireless communication systems with IO-Link\u2019s leading position in industrial automation, this collaboration will set new standards. Both communities are confident that this collaboration will bring new and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very pleased with our partnership with IO-Link. Together we will shape the future of communication systems and offer our members even more powerful solutions,\u201d said Peter Hedberg, CEO of the mioty alliance, about the goals of the collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe collaboration with the mioty alliance offers us new opportunities to develop applications and industries, especially in the areas of IIoT and maintenance,\u201d adds Joachim Uffelmann from the IO-Link Community.<\/p>\n<p>The signing of the cooperation agreement was announced at the Hannover Messe. Xaver Schmidt (Chairman of the Board of PI (PROFIBUS &amp; PROFINET International)), Peter Hedberg (Managing Director of the mioty alliance) and Joachim Uffelmann (Spokesperson of the IO-Link Steering Committee) are looking forward to the cooperation between the organizations. \u201cThe work on the specifications can now begin,\u201d confirmed Joachim Uffelmann.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the mioty alliance<\/strong><br \/>\nThe mioty alliance is a community of companies, institutions and developers committed to creating and disseminating the most accessible, robust and efficient IoT connectivity solution on the market. The mioty technology is based on a software-defined Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) protocol specifically designed for large-scale industrial and commercial IoT applications. Thanks to its reliability and scalability, mioty enables robust wireless connectivity that meets the demands of Industry 4.0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About IO-Link<\/strong><br \/>\nIO-Link is a worldwide open standard for point-to-point communication between sensors and actuators in industrial applications.
